Vintage Indiana Glass Sunset Duncan Miller Sandwich Glass Relish Dish

The item up for sale is a gorgeous, vintage "Sunset" (a.k.a. "Amberina") 4-part divided Relish Dish that features a beautifully ornate and detailed "Star and Scroll" Sandwich pattern on thick, bright golden yellow glass with bold orange-to-red edges.
The dish measures approximately 11" in diameter, it has two 1 3/4" handles and is divided into 4 sections.
It is truly an elegant and stunning piece of glassware!
This dish was part of a limited edition glassware line produced by Indiana Glass and offered by Colony, exclusively to Montgomery Ward during their "Century 2" celebration, which commemorated their 100th year in business.
Although it was initially believed that the Montgomery Ward Sandwich Glass had been recreated from original moulds of the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company, it was later confirmed that the line had actually been made from original Duncan-Miller #41 "Early American Lace" Sandwich pattern moulds that Indiana Glass had purchased in the 1960's.
The Montgomery Ward Sandwich Glass line, which included 16 pieces of specialty glassware in three unique colors, was only available in 1972 so, this is quite a rare find!  And, this dish is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips or scratches!
