F.B. Rogers Tilting Gravy Boat with Candle warming stand - Silver-plated, 8 oz. #6731
Still in original plastic packaging - no box included. Will be shipped to protect the contents.
F.B Rogers 1940's Silver Plate Leaf-Handled Gravy Boat w/Leaf and flower Scroll Handle on a stand. Gravy boat lifts up off of stand. The stand includes a tea candle and silver plated holder to keep the gravy warm. The gravy boat has a flat base so you can set it down on a flat surface if the stand is out of reach.
The stand is sturdy and heavy and the boat is plated and light- perfect for passing around the table, and holds at least 8 oz.
Condition:
Great condition. There was quite a bit of patina on the silver; however, although not a polishing expert, I had a go at polishing the silver to restore it to its original shine. Some of the photos shown are pre-polished and some post-polished. There is one before/after picture to show a few differences. The gravy boat and stand will need a bit more polishing attention to obtain 100% full shine.
