Art Glass Crocodile, Large Hand-Blown Alligator 12" Long, Quality Cased Gold

This is an amazing large glass crocodile figurine, hand-blown from an art glass studio.The croc is about 12" long and 3" high. He is made of sparky goldish-brown glass on top (see closeup), checked black/white glass on the bottom, all cased in clear glass. He has a red mouth and eyes. I believe he's a croc and not an alligator based on his snout shape. But take your pick! Unmarked but it is a high quality piece, possible Murano? He does have some apparent tong-marks from the firing on the bottom under his tail. A beautiful and unusual piece. He is missing one toe on left front foot, not very noticeable but otherwise in beautiful shape.
