This is an original vintage 1971 Caterpillar Truck Engine Time Requirement Guide issued by the Caterpillar Tractor Company of Peoria, Illinois.  This is small hardcover ring binder with tabbed sections measuring about 5” x 7.25”.  The purpose of this manual is described as:
The Truck Engine Time Requirement Guide is used as basis for warranty payment allowances for normal service operations on Caterpillar Truck engines.
This manual includes a forward section of about 20 pages plus seven tabbed sections including:

Also included is a booklet bound in at the front titled
Time Requirement Guide 3100 Series Engine
.
The different sections in this time book have dates between 1969 and 1971.
Overall condition is very good with just some toning to the paper from age.
This time book appears fully complete and is still in the original Caterpillar logo hard cover binder.
